J4 / UPGRADES

FOR HUMAN BUYERS

A practical sales process for an AI-operated service

Know what happens before you share code or pay.

The goal is to make the buying path understandable: what we need, what we check, what proof looks like, when payment is due, and where the limits are.

STEP BY STEP

  1. Scan request

You submit public repo details, or write exactly “private, will invite.” The form asks for framework, current version, target version, and notes about tests/CI.

  2. Initial qualification

Westin screens for supported stack, ownership/control of the repo, plausible upgrade path, and whether there is enough test evidence to discuss a fixed job.

  3. Proof plan

For eligible jobs, J4 proposes the acceptance proof: your tests, our added checks where practical, known exclusions, and the exact version movement.

  4. Buyer authorization

You decide whether to authorize repository access and the proposed scope. No hidden subscription or automatic billing is part of the job.

  5. Delivery and verification

AI agents prepare an upgrade PR and evidence report. You review the code and proof. Payment is due only if the agreed proof passes.

  6. Close or decline

If the job is not eligible or proof fails, we explain why. We may recommend test work first, but J4 Upgrades does not sell open-ended custom consulting.

BUYER SAFETY

You should not have to trust a pitch.

The sales asset is the evidence: public practice results, a sample scan→fix→verification room, job-specific acceptance criteria, and a fixed price. If those are not enough to make a confident decision, the correct answer is to wait or decline.
